650mb capacity magneto-optical drives here yet?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has information on the
currently-vaporware (so it seems) 650 megabyte capacity magneto-optical
drive?

As I understand it, there are drives that can handle 230mb 3.5"
cartridges, and then the next level up are the drives that handle 1.3gb
5.25" cartridges.

230mb is a bit small for what I'd like, and 1.3gb (plus the initial
cost of the drive itself) is just WAY to expensive for me to even consider.

The funny thing is that I was flipping through the ads in PC Magazine and
came upon an advertisement by Pinnacle Micro, and they were selling 650mb
optical media! That would seem to imply 650mb capable drives out there
(unless these are for the 5.25" drives for those who don't need the 1.3gb).

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Andrew
