Try ripping some songs off a burnt CD, the ripper will stall at 99.3% and then continue to 99.7%, stall again and then finish. Playing audio from burnt discs is also a joke. It freezes, loses settings and then refreshes. Which also reminds me. When the drive can't read a disc, it cracks the shits and spins up and down, rendering the system unusable while it decides it can actually read the disc if it tries harder. Never any problems with the 6x or the 2x Panasonic, except they can't rip.
