Get GDISK from Symantec's Ghost download area. It analyses the MBR/EBRs are reports any problems. You can use the /raw option to see what things look like. Mark Madronio wrote in message <378551e3.6550430@news.bigpond.com>... :I'm having some problems. My main OS is Win98. I don't know if the :second partition came about while fiddling with Partition Magic 4 or :after installing Red Hat Linux 5.2 (and using its disk partition :software). : :Now I can't get rid of it. Win98 works fine, scandisk can't see any :problems at all. Partition Magic immediately quits with an error so I :can't use it. Norton disk doctor (v.2 for win95 but in DOS) sees it :but can't fix it. :
