Justin,

Don't hold your breath! The first shipment of Zip drives was due to
arrive in Australia in July, but the huge unsatisfied demand in the US has
delayed this to about October!!!

The competing SyQuest EZ135 is scheduled to arrive by early August and
will be officially released at the Melbourne PC show in mid-August. It
will sell for significantly more than Zip (c.A$400 for the IDE internal
drive and c.A$500 for the external, with the cartridges at A$39. This is
hardly competitive with the planned Zip prices of under A$350 for the
drive and around A$25 for the disks (in 10-packs).
