Hi.

I need som help in sorting out a problem with my new system.

What I've got:

AMD K5 PR133
Gigabyte GA-586S motherboard (SiS 5571 chipset)
AHA 2940AU or AHA 1542CP
1 gig Seagate HD
Tseng Labs ET6000 video card
SB 32 plug and Play
Creative 8x ide CD
Win 95 OSR2

The system works fine with the 1542 scsi card installed. It is
recognised by Win 95 and the 32 bit drivers install correctly.

When I replace the 1542 card with the 2940 scsi card, the
card bios is loaded on power up and the drive is seen. Win 95
starts ok but will not detect the card and so no drivers are instaled.

I have tried to manually install the card but I get one of those
yellow marks next to the item in the device listing. The properties
box has "device not present, not working (code 10)" message.

With the system in this condition it is still works fine as long
as I dont want to use any other scsi devices (cd burner, scanner).

Any help appreciated.
