If you knew some individuals I know, you'd know about something called "fair share." That's a scam where a crooked person will buy an article, substitute something else for it, and return it. Then, he or she can sell or otherwise barter what they've ripped off. Some underpaid stock clerk in the store may return it to a rack and, voila! Somebody gets burned. I personally know of a person who would do that sort of thing with audio CD's, even going to the trouble of carefully breaking the seal in a way that would not betray what was done. Incidentally, one person I know got busted by Mervy's or Macy's and had to pay a significant fine amounting to several thousand dollars + jail time. Charlie
