CFP1060S -- SCSI-II
CFP1060W -- Wide SCSI

I would expect the Wide SCSI drive to have a faster transfer rate between
the system and the buffer, but this is not reflected in the files I
retrieved from the Conner BBS, from which I literally copied the excerpts
I posted.  Other Conner documentation (FaxBack) does indicate that the
CFP1060W has a 20 Mb/sec transfer rate between the system and the buffer.

I believe that's correct -- it appears to be another typo.

The FaxBack documentation also indicates that the average write seek (as
opposed to the average read seek) of the 1060 is actually 9.5 ms.
