Can't answer #1 and #2 depends...
If you mean that you are looking for tape backup oftware that will restore 
os2 and all of the data without having to reinstall os2 first, 
you may want to look at sytos premium 2.0 for os2.
their disaster recovery software does just this.
Call them for more details.
