Or am I missing >something? ;-) Actually, it's not rare on that board. Most of the files seem to be text files and, as I just mentioned to your email copy, I like to download whole conferences when I see problems like the one with the 4110. It was especially important here since Micropolis didn't bother to mention that there was a later firmware update than the nov18f.bin one for Netware problems but the October file turned out to be important and I found this from people's messages to the rather reticent Micropolis staff. I also found out that people on this board were quite angry with the lack of support when it involved a drive that gives problems on Netware. Back to HP, which has always worked for me w/o problems, in their newer server. >> 57600 does not work on certain boards very well, >> even with my 16550AFN uart, while it does on other boards, so I dial in at >> 38,400 to ensure quicker transfers that don't have to wait for resends. > > >Then there is something wrong with your system -- I use 57600 (or higher) >for *all* connections without any problems. People report, on a couple of boards, that they cannot function at 57600 there whereas they can on their other boards. I don't imagine you hit every board in America <g>. - A -- ,------------------------------------------------------------------------, | Andrys Basten <andrys@netcom.com> | Basten Micro Consulting (DOS) | | Have Early Music, Will Travel | Berkeley-San Francisco, CA | | Harpsichord, recorders | 510-235-3861 | +------------------------------------------------------------------------+
