Yes, I just went through something similar with that except that the two
technicians we got at different times of the day told us to get the NOV*.zip
file instead of the one you mentioned, which is later and, I assume, more up
to date.  Their descriptions available as 'info' on the bulletin board file
section are extremely lacking, with just the word 'fix' without saying what
it fixes.  I later found that the file you mention was the one to get. The
two biggest problems are intermittent drive-dismounts and data corruption.
That's a rather angry consumer base on the board. Few answers and far
between.  Their tech support by phone, if you could stand the 30-minute
wait, with the help of a speaker phone, was very helpful though, in spite of
the older file (4/94) being recommended.

I was able to get into this 709-3310 number with a 38400bps connection.
