Can someone tell me how many versions of the DOCK I and DOCK II there
have been and what the model numbers are?

Do any of the DOCK Is have PCMCIA slots?

Secondly, if the volume control disk falls of the DOCK II will that acount
for no sound, is it easily fixed?
