I am considering buying a Pentium motherboard with onboard EIDE. I don't want the EIDE; it just seems to be included on most MB's. I will be getting an Adaptec 2940 SCSI adapter. My question is: is it possible to completely disable the onboard EIDE controller so the IRQ's it occupies can be used by other hardware? One of the things I really like about SCSI is that you can use all kinds of devices all on 1 IRQ. Thanks for any help. - Keith -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc.
