I am trying to get my Nikon Coolscan to work with my Thinkpad 750Cs and IBM DOCK II. The scanner is installed OK and when the machine starts up I get the Adaptec BIOS info - it then loads the ASPI driver ok so I can see that the Coolscan is being recognised on ID 2. The DOCK II SCSI port is address 340. However when I go into Windows 3.11 and install the Nikon 1.2E software, and try to scan or preview, I just get an error message that the scanner did not respond. If I scan the bus in windows, it shows up..... Anyone had any experience with the coolscan and Dock II? -- David Longley

Partly solved. The software was not autodetecting the SCSI ID. However,
the coolscan does not appear in the bus scan with the IBM DOCK II option
