I'm finally buying a new computer, well actually, this will be my first
computer besides the one I use at work. Does anyone out there have any
recommendations for what would be a good computer. I'm looking for one
with a lot of power (100 MHz or better) that will last for at least two
years. I am also looking ofr a complete system so I don't have to buy
everything seperatly. Are there any good computer's out there for under
$3000? Are the Aptiva's any good?
Please E-Mail me if you have any news that can help me solve this problem.
Thank You All,
I'll read your Mail :)

About the only thing that I would be concerned and careful about is to check the amount of cache that comes with the system. Also, pay attention to the video card. Other than that, I would recommend a PB to about anybody. JimC.

God knows no one else would recommend that junk. Joe Hachem

I guess Joe has a problem with PB...and I agree. Why would you EVER want to buy a computer that is sold on the Home Shopping Club, Sears, or KMART? To answer your question without knowing exactly what you want to use this computer for, I would probably go with a Dell. The Dell Dimension P90 is an excellent value...and no I don't work for Dell.
