A few of you have asked about this, so I'm going to post the 'solution' one more time. I don't think the new drivers (P3D2W9x14004.exe) on Canopus' website provides complete OpenGL compatibility. When I installed Quake 3 Test v1.07 on my PC, after installing the new Canopus drivers, it did detect the Voodoo OpenGL, but preferred the Matrox OpenGL drivers instead. When I selected Voodoo with OGL extensions, I was able to configure it, but trying to run it in 1024x768 crashed it. I didn't bother trying other resolutions. (After all, when you have SLI, why bother with other resolutions?) :-) And, of course, GLSETUP is no solution, because they don't even provide Voodoo2 drivers yet. Instead, I went to 3dfx's website and downloaded their latest Voodoo2 reference drivers (the one that claims to be Q3TEST compatible). I unzipped the contents to a directory and spotted the OpenGL driver, which is labeled "3dfxVGL.dll" ... I took this file and copied it to the Q3TEST directory on my hard-drive. Selected "Voodoo" instead of "Default" once again in the Quake3 Test setup menu, made my adjustments, chose 1024x768 and ... VOILA! Runs perfectly! Great visuals and a good framerate. So, if anyone tells you that your non-3dfx Voodoo2 is incapable of running Q3Test, try this, and I'll bet you will be able to prove them wrong. - Will My system config: Pentium III (450MHz) & Abit BH-6 128 MB RAM Windows 98 Matrox Millenium G200 [AGP] two Canopus Pure3D IILX running SLI -- Anti-SPAM measures are in effect!
