Everyone boasts about 70+ fps in Quake2, thats insane! My system: Epox EP-58MVP3C-M Motherboard K6-2 300mhz Voodoo3 3000 SBLive Value 64meg PC-100 ram (other stuff not important) I get ~30-40fps. Im not really complaining, because I use to get 5-13fps online on my P133 machine. Is this normal fps Im getting? I know Im a lil low on ram but... I use SB Live 2.0 sound drivers. And Voodoo3 drivers from 3dfx website (NOT the Q3 drivers). I cant remember if I play in 3dfx mode or in opengl mode. If memory serves me correctly, 3dfx mode wouldnt run. And another thing, when I have the higher quality sound, its not really high quality... it screeches and sound crackles when theres a bunch of sounds and stuff. Mabye I need new drivers or something? Maybe I should go read dejanews because Im sure my questions have been answered before :( -- ==================================================qSiG1.2= [Quentin MacDougall] - [quentin@cs.dal.ca] - [ICQ 5798952] [BSc.
