Jumbo tape on Promise controller

Is anyone out there using a Jumbo 250 tape drive connected to a Promise
2031/2032 ide disk controller? This controller has a third floppy connection
marked 'floppy tape'. Do the drivers that come with the Jumbo tape
work 'out of the box' or are special drivers required? The compatability
list doesn't mention Promise one way or the other.
