Well, I am still having problems with the Colorado Tape Drive Jumbo 250.
It will go 50% on the Format (which is the format part) and then does a
read-rewind-reread endless re-try on the second half of format (the
verify part).  I understand that it should be a smooth continuous
operation.  I have tried 4 tapes, 2 drives, 2 IDE controlers (different
chip sets) and 2 cables.  After 1 hour on the phone with CMS, they told
me to buy a $135.00 tape controller card.  I have also turned off LIM
4.0 and turned off concurrent DMA operation.  The computer is a clone
33 MHz 486, 2 floppies, 350 M in 2 hard drives, 8M memory.  All the
other cards have been pulled out in the troubleshooting and I have tried
to boot from a clean boot disk, with turbo off.  Also, have tried both
TAPE and CPBACKUP.

My question is: CAN SONEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!???
