I'm writing a System Info program in C for Ibm's such as the one in Norton Utilities or PCTools. I need to be able to find out what the type of machine is eg. (386SX 16 Mhz), but I can't find it in any of the books I've read or in any newsgroups. I've tried looking through the BIOS and DOS interrupts but I haven't found anything there either. If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate any information they could give me. Thanks in advance. Steve
