	Forget about com3 and com4. They're there for systems that 
don't use a printer port and sound card. You can't have 2 devices that
use 
the same irq, without wreaking havoc on your system. 

	Disable com2 on your motherboard, through the CMOS setup, 
and then set the modem to use com2 via. autoexec.bat. Also, 
if you can, for com1, change it from auto to 3F8. That should fix it
for good.
