I've been trying to find a good 15" monitor in Melbourne, Australia.

Having done some homework (bought the PC Magazine) and read up on the monitor
reviews.  Having thought I knew enough, I started looking through the price
lists of various hardware advertisers and tried phoning a few about the
monitors they advertised.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I don't think I've seen any of the editor's
choices, good buys or even adequate buys from the Magazine advertised.  I
always seem to get a model that isn't listed!

Does anyone have the specs or anything good or bad about the following
monitors?

Aus$780		15" DAT XGA monitor
Aus$750		15" ADI FS 4G FS low-rad
		(a different one was reviewed in the PC Magazine)
		15" Viemagic XGA, NI, FS
Aus$785		15" MAG XGA NI LX1464
		(dunno what this is, as a different one was reviewed in the PC
		 magazine, the sales-drone said they only stocked MAG's with
		 Hitachi tubes)
Aus$1150	15" MAG MX15H
		(the MX15G won an award in the PC Magazine, and I don't know
		 what this one is)

I'm really interested in the MAG LX1464, but don't really know much about it.
Does it have between 13 and 14 inches of active area?

Even the ADI or DAT would seem to be a reasonable purchase as long as the
active area was bigger than most 14" SVGA monitors.  800x600 or higher on a 14"
monitor is too much for my eyes ;-(
