Hi!

I have recently got a Tanberg tape drive from a fair. Apparently it
used to connect to some kind of IBM machine. I was told, but may not
be accurate information, that it takes a 6250 tape and can do
500Mbytes(!?).

It looks like a SCSI-I drive to me (There is a 50pin socket and a
label which says SCSI). There are also some jumpers about DS1,2,3
(drive select, I presume) and parity. The part# is PN 21F8671. 

Does anybody out there have any info on the tape drive, how I can
connect it to a PC? Or how I can contact the Norwegian company
Tanberg?
