I am considering building my own dual pentium (hot box) with stuff like 
2-4 gigs high speed scsi disks, dat tape backup, 4x cdrom, 3-4 pci 
slots, 5-6 EISA slots to run the multiprocessor version of unixware 
(2.1) on.  Other option would be to buy canned version from ast, alr, 
compaq etc.


Any strong reccomendations for :

1) motherboard companys.

2)build your own pc at home books(liked Minasi's maintance book)

3) peripheral suppliers (wires,screws,power supplies,cabinets)

4)forum where these issues are routinely discussed

5)ways to contact mobo companys for literature updates upgrades.
