I know that their last earnings statement was not very good and
that their stock has plummeted in value (from ~18 to ~4) in the
last 6 months.  That information coupled with the fact that they
do not have enough parts in stock to deliver systems in a timely
manner causes me some worry.  My guess would be that they are
having some sort of cash crisis.  

Future?  I don't see much of a future if the big boys start
pricing the mail order places out of the market.  Let's face
it, if I had a choice on two systems, one from a mail order
company and one from IBM, and they were priced closely, I
would buy big blue every time.
