Hi, I have recently gotten a Suntek Memoplus AT memory expansion board
populated with 2 MB of DRAM... My 286 computer has a split (odd/even) AMI
BIOS which seems to only support 512K conventional / 512K upper memory.
The Suntek dox imply that if you set the board for 512K, for example, that
it will fill out the conventional memory and the balance will be extended.
I have the MOTHERBOARD populated with 512 convention and 512 "expansion"
(probably extended) but when I set the Suntek to start at memory address
512K, I get CMOS mismatch errors, etc., stuff about paged memory, etc.
Sometimes (with different settings, come work, some dont) I get 512K /
512K, and a slowdown when the RAM count hits 512 K. But shouldnt I be
getting 640K / 2432K? And should the RAM count proceed to 3 megs?
Thanx a LOT in advance!
