I have just built a 386-sx 2 meg of mem 60 meg disk drive
all works well until I install windows 3.1

Windows crashs the machine with the following error message:

Standard mode: Bad fault in MS-DOS Extender
Fault: 000D stack dump 0000 0000 0070
...

I also get protection violations on control.exe and some other
file [ sorry -I didn't write it down ] while under windows.

I have ms-dos 5.0 windows 3.1 a logitec mouse, a cd-rom drive
and a sound board.

Is this: hardware, disk or bad windows disks that is causing
this. Any help would be appreated
