Now that I have my LaserJet 4, I want to put it on my network by connecting it to a PC print server. (Those direct network cards cost too much for this application.) So that my printing through a parallel port is not a bottleneck, I want to get one of those new BiTronics high-speed parallel ports compatable with the LaserJet 4, since I'm told they can increase data transfer rates x10 over the original parallel ports. I CAN'T FIND ONE! Does anybody know of a ISA bus plug-in Bitronics parallel port? Please respond with e-mail (post a follow-up as well, if you think it is of general interest), to help me not have to wade through each conference where I've cross-posted. (I only cross-post to appropriate, I hope, locations.) Thanks! Without change, *David Barber* nothing can ever get better. @}-->---- UUCP: ucsd!crash!dbarber INET: dbarber@crash.cts.com
