I haven't tried a SCSI HD or tape drive with the system; but, according to the docs., it should work. A 486 should not have any problems. You just can't have two IDE controllers in your system :-(. I prefer SCSI because, on my system, I only have one custom config for a HD. Therefore, I have to use an identical drive if I want to add a second drive. And that is only if it will work as a slave. -- Wayne |=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^=^| | Wayne Summer // AMIGA - Simply the Best. | | Palm Bay, FL. \X/ | | 407/724-6305 wayne@amtower.spacecoast.org | |=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v=v|
