I've had 2 IDE cards fail in the past 10 months.  Thankfully, it was within
the 1 year warranty.  Regarding service, I've found it extremely difficult
to reach them but found their service (once you talk to a technician) to be
okay.  They seem to follow a script on trying to determine the cause of the
problem - which can be pretty slow and doesn't always follow a common sense
engineering approach to solving the problem.  But, it did appear that they
were interested in getting me back online.  Being considerate to the technician
helps!

At the end of the last diagnosis with them (for my 2nd IDE failure), they
decided to replace my video card (the RAM was intermittently failing), the IDE
card (it *was* bad), and the mother board (just to be sure).  I'm hoping none
of the new boards suffer any early deaths as I only have a few months left in
the 1 year warranty.

Does anyone know if the warranty is extended in anyway for boards that they
replace because of failure?  That is, is there an implicit or explicit
warranty for the IDE board since it had to be replaced?
