Hello there...

My sister come out to me this afternoon blabbering something about
'My computer doesnt work'. Yeah yeah, ill fix it later...

Anyway, what she had done was manage to get into the BIOS settings
and change her bios p/word..  :( and so happend 'forgot the password(s)'
that she had put in.. D'OOhhhh...

Anyway, this is not a problem, i cracked open the machine, lifted the
cmos battery jumper and put the machine together..  Then I changed the
Cmos settings to reflect the drive parameters as there is no Auto IDE 
detect on this 386 m/b.. Alls well so far...

Now I rebooted the system, and all i get after it shows the system config is:

128 KB CACHE MEMORY
Missing operating system_

and thats it... I can load Dos from my 6.22 dos disks and then issue C:
and the HD is all there perfect... fdisk reports the hd as the Active 
partition, and i even did a fdisk /mbr and that achieved nothing.

I then reinstalled Dos 6.22 over the dos on the hd (which come from the same
set of disks aswell)..  Nope, nothing... So then i made sure and copied the
command.com, io.sys and msdos.sys (whatever anyway) aswell as the dos dir 
into another dir, and did a COMPLETE dos re-install...

Nothing... Im still looking at the dos box with a Missing operating 
system... I would like to fix this as i HATE reinstalling MS products 
again, and ill be forced to sit down and set it up from my sister winging 
about it every time i see here...
