IIRC, the HP laserjet series understand both PCL and HPGL (the HP plotter language), and if equipped for it, also PostScript. Have you tried opening the file with any other vector grpahics programs, such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator and/or Macromedia FreeHand?
