Please help me locate the supplier/maker of a Veridata notebook.  

The notebook is not sold or supported locally (Australia) and is therefore 
an unknown.  Since the notebook exists then it follows (one would hope) that 
the supplier/maker exists (given that it is only about 6 months old).   I 
have searched directories and contacted embassies without any luck.  

Surely someone out their has stumbled over such a beast in their travels?

Its description follows:

Veridata 	Model: GemPower 486 D/U

It has an American Megatrends Bios and contains a label internally which says,
"AMERICARDZ PCMCIA Card and Socket Services, American Megatrends SN A005429"


I would really appreciate any help I can get in locating the supplier.
