Hi all,

I'm posting this for a friend.

He's looking for an editor that works under DOS with the following features:
- at least 8 files at the same time
- block operations
- (and this is it) sorting by rows. This means, that you can define some rows
as a sorting criterion. The editor should sort the lines of the text.
When two rows are alike, the editor should consider a second row a.s.o.

Does such a software exist?? He said, he once saw one, but doesn't remember
the name.

Please reply via EMail as I'm currently not reading this newsgroup.
Thank you very much in advance.
