One important item to check is whether the disks are hard sectored or
soft sectored 5 1/4". If they are soft sectored, then the file translation
programs will probably work, but I've never seen an IBM PC drive that will
read hard-sectored floppies. Some of the later S-100 systems used
soft-sectored disks that were very similar to the IBM 320k and 160k
floppies. The Zenith Z-100 was one S-100 machine that could read/write
both CPM and MS-DOS disks 5 1/4 inch disks. Zenith supplied a utility
called RDCPM that enabled it to read CPM disks when running the MS-DOS
operating system.

Soft-sectored - only one index hole in the disk material
Hard-sectored - each sector boundary is defined by a hole in the disk,
so there may be 9-10 index holes
