Has anyone successfully gotten DOS5 to run under Interactive's vpix environment?
If you did, how did you do it?

I am running Interactive 3.0.1 (System V, Release 3.2), and the version of
VP/ix that came with it.  I can't use any of the DOS5 commands (naturally)
and setver doesn't exist in VPIX.  When I tried a sys C: from the D: drive,
I got the VPIX can't emulate some instruction message.  If I try to load my
copy of dos5, I have to reboot, which defeats the purpose (I think).  When
I copied the the DOS5 command.com to the vpix c: drive I got the "bad or
missing command interpreter" message.  When I tried to copy the io.sys and
msdos.sys files I got "file creation error" (but only if I tried to copy
them to the C: drive).  When I used xcopy I got "access denied".  The
manuals referred me to a manual called the VP/ix Technical Manual (or
something like that) which, conveniently, isn't included in the
documentation I got.


Help! I'm running out of ideas.
