A friend of mine with many megabytes of important documents is limping
along using Leading Edge v. 1.3. We have a couple of questions and are
hoping there are some LE wizards out there in netland 8-)

      1. Recently, LE has refused to edit some files that it says
are damaged. It also reports a short damage code. We don't
know what caused the damage, but suspect a disk cacheing program
(since uninstalled). Is there a list of what the damage codes mean,
and can damaged files be repaired?

      2. He is considering switching to Word Perfect. Is there even a
partial convert program from LE to WP?

      3. Is there an LE support group, or has someone else taken over
      LE support?

Thanks. Email preferred, but posted replies OK too.
