I print out on a HP Laserjet 5MP, using a PC, Windows 3.11 and Coreldraw. I want to change the line screen but because of the microfine tuner, it's fixed on default and unchangeable. I REALLY need to output my artwork at 70lpi for newspapers but can't. Anyone know how I can change it? Anyone know how I can change it? I have to admit I'm not really sure what you're trying to achieve, John. But I assume you've checked Appendix A in the manual and found nothing there of use? Next step could be to try the HPFirst fax-back info service (assuming you have access to a fax!). The number to call is (03) 9272 2627. I can't recall the exact procedure now, but I think you key in numbers such as your own fax number and the IDs of the docs you want sent. The *Index* for HP LaserJet printer docs is 19991 (or was, in Sep. 95). Cheers, Ian S. -- Ian Staples E-mail : I.Staples@dpi.qld.gov.au c/- P.O. Make sure that you are using the latest HP postscript drivers. Corel 4 and 5 that we are using has no problem allowing us to select the screen freq. BTW we are using the 4MV so it should be similar.
