What is the speed of these SIPP's?

Hi,
	I have a 286/16 motherboard with 4 x 1 Mb SIPP modules and I am
looking to upgrade to a 486 DX 40. The question is what speed are these SIPP's
 - if they are fast enough (70 ns) I can use them on the new motherboard - by
kludging a 4 x 30 pin SIMM ->72 pin SIM converter. The SIPP modules have a
part number of SJ1009, and each module has 9 DIP's marked :

	Goldstar
	GM71C1000J80
	9126

I believe the last line is the date of manufacture code, and I suspect the
J80 suffix on the part number indicates a speed of 80 ns, in which case I
am up for new RAM with the motherboard. Can anyone confirm this - or better
still let me know that the SIPP's can cope with 70 ns access.

If possible E-mail replies to imhogan@vx23.cc.monash.edu.au, if not
post a reply to this group.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,
Ian Hogan.
