I need to do buffered I/O through the COM ports in C. It will eventually be done in Microsoft C and at the moment I am using Borlands compiler. It would be ideal if I could just open a COM port as a stream and let the operating system do all the buffering for me. I would also prefer not doing BIOS calls but if I have to then so be it. Does anyone have any examples in C? Suggestions would be welcomed. Feel free to either send me mail direct or to post responses. If you make a post please also send email to me at "pitonyak@cis.ohio-state.edu" if possible. Thanks in advance, Andy
