Can anyone supply me with the information I need to access the 3com501 or Western Digital (choice depends on response) using assembly language programming. I am trying to write a network monitoring or tracing tool using one of these cards and I need to know what is available from the card and at what locations. I have done the obvious and contacted the suppliers but they are not keen to tell me anything. If there is some sort of programmers reference I'd also like to know. I'm new to PC programming in any case so if the are some really good books I MUST have let me know. BTW this is for my final year college project rather than work. (this makes it far more important to me!) Thanks, Mark Bailey, UK Response Centre. mark@hpwin051
