I am using Microsoft C 5.1. I have a variable defined before the first function declaration like this: int crc_flag; As soon as I enter the first function, CodeView reports that the value of the function has changed, from 1 to 0. The variable is not declared inside the function, and is not an argument in the function call. This seems wrong, based on my understanding of C. What should be happening? -David- Bitnet: david@wubios.wustl ^ Mr. David J.
