SCSI Interface Source Code

I want to interface two PC AT computers via SCSI host adapters.
Does anyone out there know how to write generic read and write routines
for the SCSI card? All I need are very simple routines with two arguments:
number of bytes, and address of data. Source code would be appreciated.
