A friend of mine has a very large MSDOS program consisting mostly of
well written C-code. What it needs, is to be jazzed up by a really
nice front end/menuing system. Does anybody know of software
libraries or code generating software that will help generate the
necessary code? Any help is much appreciated.
thanks,
Leif.

For my 70K of codes, it added another 240K for UI! My candidate is TCXL libraries from Innovative Data Concepts. I've test its shareware version from SIMTEL. It looks pretty good. I also found that The Programmer's Shop is selling its commercial version with a TesSeRact Screen Designer, and some utilities for $99. Is there anybody having experiences with it? Jack Hwang

Somebody recommended TCXL which I down loaded from simtel-20.The small model version 5.52 which is a shareware. I was impressed by demo provided in there but when I compiled/link the demo for myself it fail for not being able to include _TCXLvid.h .Apprently many people had the same problem. Somebody suggested that there is CXL package in the simtel-20 but in a different directory(in C) and does almost everything TCXL does. Luckly all the header file for small model version 5.2 is down there and demo program compiles/links without any problem. Above all the documentation provided are easier to read and the functions are c like functions compare to TCXL which I found very pascal looking and difficult to understand. It solved my problem. I hope it does the same for you.
