Hi,

I'm trying to design a neat user interface for a fairly complex
DOS based C program. I'm interested in portability to other platforms
and flexibility. It looks like there are a couple of software pakages which
serve as aids for doing this does any body know which is the best that
money can buy and why.

The packages I'm looking at are:
                        + C-Scape by Liant
+ POWER Screen by Blaise Computing
                        + Greenleaf Datawindows
+ Vitamin C 4.0 by Creative Prog. Consltnts
+ Panel Plus II 2.2 by Roundhill.

Any help is appreciated.
                        Thanks,
                             Leif. (hille@cs.yale.edu)

Have you seen "Vermont Views" by Vermont Creative Software. I've used an
older version of the package for developing a user interface for an editor
for knowledge bases for expert system developed by a company I work for

I do not know how good their new version is or how it compares to
packages mentioned above, but what I used was quite good.

Vermont Creative Software advertise often in BYTE magazine they also offer
a free demo disk if you phone 1-800-848-1248 (I just pulled out the latest
copy of BYTE. I don't go around memorizing phone numbers :)

I have not seen the demo, but woun't hurt to phone...

Good Luck!
