HELP: Problem installing tcpip and sendmail

I hate it when it happens, but I have to re-install my AIX 2.2.1 again.
After I re-installed tcpip which used to work, ftp doesn't work anymore.
I can ftp from another machine to the RT, but not vice versa.  The error
message is: 
	gethostbyname (other_machine_name) failed

Also, sendmail which used to work, doesn't work anymore.  I can send email
out but when I tried to email from another machine to the RT, the message
bounced back with the error:
	RT_host_name Do not communicate with self
	<RT_host_name>... Service Unavailabel: No such file or directory

Can anyone help?  Thanks much.
