Newbie Questions!

Hi all!

I just (brought it home Wednesday) got myself an old RT. The label on
front of the case says "Model 125". It's got 4Mb and 2 70meg hard drives, and
appears to be running AIX 2.2.1.

My questions are: What's involved in putting in a larger hard drive, and
what kind of drives does it take (SCSI, ST-506, etc.)?
And will doing a tar from the root be sufficient to reinstall the system if
something nasty happens? Which, I suppose, brings up the question of how do I
build a boot-floppy for this system?

Sorry if these are kind of lame questions, but this is the first UNIX-like
box I've had where I didn't access to Customer Support or the Manufacturer-
Supplied Install Media...

Oh yeah, has anyone gotten ELM running on an RT?
