More disks on RT?

I have an RT with two E70 and an R40 disks.  Since the space seems
rather cramped, I have been contemplating adding another disk.

I presume that any size ESDI can be added, but what about on the MFM
controller?  Can any MFM disk be used on it?  Is there a way to tell
VRM what drive geometry to use?
