Telnetd problem.

I cannot get my telnetd daemon to start, ioctl tries to start it
but fails. The problem is with the telnetd itself, if I run it it
complains -

rt% telnet
telnetd setsockopt (SO_KEEPALIVE): Invalid argument
telnetd: getpeername: Invalid argument

Sometimes it tells me - Usage telnetd [-n]

All seems fine in /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/services.

Can anyone give me any pointers?

Thanks,

Gareth
