I was just wondering whether anyone had been successful in compiling
GCC under AIX on the RT. I know that the source says that the RT running
AIX is no longer supported, but I wondered anyway.
Thanks.

The opinions expressed are not necessarily those of the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Campus Office for Information

Someone mentioned that the code includes some assembly code that isn't RT??? I'm not much of a programmer, but would like to have C++ on my RT. I'm willing to organize an effort to port C++ to the RT. Anyone who is interested in helping, please send mail to my address at milr@quads.uchicago.edu --Mark
