The time has come for me to part with my IBM RT system. I haven't been using it enough for the past year, and I know that I won't have much time to work on it this year. My loss is your gain. I would like to sell the following system as one unit, but will consider selling parts. If I can't sell the tower, I will keep enough parts to have a minimal system. All prices are negotiable. I'm not in a hurry to sell this, so there is no reason to hurry. For those of you not familiar with the RT, it is an early IBM Unix workstation, running a combination of SYSV and BSD Unix. It includes a C compiler, and X Windows Release 3. The performance with the Extended Advanced Processor Card is approximately equivalent to a 486-33 system. My main system includes: Extended Advanced Processor Card with 16 meg of memory 300 meg ESDI drive 6155 monochrome hi-res monitor w/ monitor 6157 Model 002 tape drive Complete AIX 2.2.1 disks, with set of 10 disk updates (2703) AIX Technical Reference Manuals, Tools & Utilities Manual, VRM reference manual, etc. $2,000 or best offer Prices for individual parts would be: Extended Advanced Processor Card w/16 meg $1,000 300 meg ESDI drive $350 6157 Model 002 tape drive $300 I also have: Advanced Processor Card $300 Advanced Floating Point Card $200 110 meg ESDI drive $100 Token ring card $50 4 meg memory card $100 ALL PRICES *ARE* NEGOTIABLE. These prices do not include shipping. --Mark
